WCKUK Winter Seminar 2025 — A Strong Finish For 2025
Over eighty students gathered at our Brighton HQ for the WCKUK End of Year Seminar 2025, bringing together members from across the organisation for one final seminar of training, learning, and connection.
The seminar featured four dedicated training stations, each designed to challenge and inspire:
Bart Cham Dao — refining precision, control, and understanding of Wing Chun’s final form.
Wooden Dummy concepts — exploring structure, flow, and how to translate the form into practical movement.
Chi Sau development — sharpening sensitivity, timing, and adaptability under pressure.
Improving fighting ability — linking the system’s principles directly to realistic application.
Each area was led by members of the WCKUK Instructor Team, including Sifu Wes and Sifu Russell, Sifu Paul and Sifu Ish, Sifu Stuart, and Sifus Jason and Steve, with valuable input and support from all instructors throughout the day.
A special thank you to Sifu Chris and his students for travelling down to train with us and share in the experience, great to see the wider Wing Chun community coming together to see what we do.
The energy throughout the hall was great, focused yet fun, and students full of enthusiasm. Every student gave their all, ending the year on a high note and setting the tone for an even stronger 2026.
Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make this event a success.
Until next time, keep training, stay sharp, and see you in the new year.
