You’re not alone. Most people arrive with a mix of curiosity and nerves. However, that feeling quickly fades once class begins.

Whether you’re brand new to martial arts or coming back after a break, our sessions are designed to help you feel at ease from day one.

How the Class Runs

When you arrive, your instructor will greet you and introduce you to the group. We keep things friendly, respectful, and free from ego.

Each class follows a simple structure:

  • Warm-Up – Easy movements to get the body loose and focused.

  • Drills – You’ll learn techniques step by step. They’re practical, easy to follow, and there’s no pressure.

  • Partner Work (Optional) – When you’re ready, practise with a partner in a safe, controlled way.

  • Q&A + Cool Down – Ask questions and leave feeling energised, not drained.

You Don’t Need to Be Fit

Wing Chun isn’t about speed or power. Instead, it relies on timing, positioning, and structure. That’s exactly why it’s so effective—especially for women or anyone who wants to defend themselves without relying on size.

In fact, we have students in their 40s, 50s, and even 60s. Everyone trains at their own pace, and that’s exactly how it should be.

What to Bring

  • Comfortable Clothes – A t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms work great.

  • Water – You’ll be moving, so staying hydrated helps.

  • An Open Mind – We welcome questions and encourage curiosity in every class.
