2018 was a great year for us, we opened two new clubs in Banstead and Sidcup, as well as having the Brighton Wing Chun team come onboard as an official branch. It’s really amazing to see what started out as just an idea in my mind, transform into one of the best (IMHO) Wing Chun organisation in the UK.
I’d like to personally thank all the instructor team because without them nothing would be possible. They’ve all worked extremely hard to make sure you all get the very best instruction and have continued to train with me on a weekly basis. I don’t thank them enough but to be able to work alongside such a dedicated group is a blessing.
Let’s not forget YOU! You are helping to grow our Wing Chun group, and meeting most of you throughout the year at seminars and workshops it’s always nice to meet people who train hard and are happy to help each other without the big ego’s that seem to plague Martial Arts.
It was great to see so many new students passing the TG levels, and this year a number of people being awarded the PG levels!
Sifu Keith Collyer, Sifu Steve Poskitt, Sifu Steve Dare, Wes Ash, Andreas Androus, Chris Chapman all awarded the 5th PG level.
Sifu Jason Ludwig, Sifu Chris Mastin both got awarded the 6th PG level.
Sifu Wayne Agnew, Sifu Russell Benham both got awarded the 7th PG level.
